THE BUILDER'S STORY |
Gale Schrag, President of Sugarbush Homes has been involved in
home building and development since 1971. In 1988 he started Sugarbush
Homes and is still currently involved in the construction and development
of custom homes in Denver and surrounding areas.
One of the most distinctive qualities of a Sugarbush home is the
environmental consciousness every home is built with. Mr. Schrag believes
that an integral element to the quality of life in Colorado is the magnificent
views surrounding the Denver Metro Area, so he designs homes that enjoy
the outdoor beauty from within the comfort of the home. The precise
placement of a home on the lot produces an energy efficient home, and
a retreat that takes full advantage of the dramatic views.
"Team approach", Schrag feels, "is the key component to the satisfied
client list that is available upon request. We are involved in every
aspect of development of each home, from architectural and interior
design, lot location and selection, financing, and ultimately construction
and completion. We incorporate the architect, the interior designer, the
builder and most importantly the Owner into every home we build. Each
key person coming together and working collectively as a group to
accomplish the aspirations of the Owner and to achieve the successful
realization of their dream home."
Sugarbush was one of 12 homebuilders nationally honored by"Custom Builder" magazine in its annual "Estate Homes of America" issue.
Sugarbush has received many awards for its entries in the 1989, 1990, 1993,
1995 and 1999 Parade of Homes, including Best Kitchen Design, Best
Master Suite, Best Floor Plan, Best of Show Award, 20 People's Choice
Awards, a three time Mame Award finalist and the coveted Mame Award.
Schrag was voted to the Board of Directors of the Home Builders
Association of Metro Denver from 1991 to 1998. He has served
as a National Director for the National Association of Home Builders since 2004. He
served as chairman in the 1991 Parade of Homes along with the 1994
Rocky Mountain Home Show and in 2005 and 2007 captained projects for the
Home Builders Foundation. |
